Maleza

Video (color, sound), duration 90 mins
2016

Gabriela built an off-the-grid house in a remote, mountainous area where conditions were extreme—the site was practically inaccessible, there was no water nor electricity—and shot a movie about it. Somewhere between fiction and documentary, Maleza is a feature-length film that narrates both an architectural construction process and the relationships developed between the people working on it.
